Safety & Security of our Seafarers is one of CSM’s priorities. Piracy and violence rapidly growing in the Gulf of Guinea with very limited measures to combat it locally is a matter of serious industry concern. CSM joined the industry initiative and signed the Gulf of Guinea Declaration on Suppression of Piracy. This Declaration invites responsible authorities and stakeholders to activate their anti-piracy measures to stop this very worrying escalation in the region and protect the health and life of seafarers.
